About Card Captor Sakura
Brief Synopsis
Sakura Kinomoto is a lively Elementary School student who suddenly discovers she posses special magical powers that are still to be developed, and with them she must fight against the black cards that absorb human energy causing disasters wherever they turn up. She is a Card Captor, though still not very skillful at the job. Thanks to her spiritual protector, Kero-chan, Sakura discovers her mission and learn everything to be known about the Cards, her magichal instruments to fulfill every trial that may come her way.

Our Opinion
This series provides a little refreshing touch to the usual anime with a cute little girl with special powers as the heroine, though still falls on the triviality of that kind of stories. The character design is quite nice, and, together with the selected voice actors and the personal trademark CLAMP puts in all their works (specially when it comes to the sexual ambiguity of the characters), CCS can be a nice source of entertainment for those who like this kind of series.
